🙌 WELCOME TO THE FAMILY
Hoops season may still be months away, but the Monarchs are amped up and ready to attack the 2024-25 season as both the men’s and women’s programs rounded out their rosters for the upcoming year this week.
On the men’s side, new head coach Mike Jones announced an 11-player incoming class, while Coach Milton-Jones and the Lady Monarchs will have 10 new faces on the squad this upcoming season.

This past year, Coach Milton-Jones and the Lady Monarchs earned a third-straight 20-plus win season.
As we mentioned, they don’t plan on slowing down anytime soon as ODU rounded out its full 2024-25 roster with a 10-player recruiting class.
They’ve been hard at work this summer preparing for the upcoming year and ODUSports.com recently sat down with coach to talk about the newcomers, the summer so far and the future of the program.
📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Class Acts. Not only did the Monarchs enjoy success on the field, court, water and every other competition surface, but they also had high marks in the classroom this past year.
This week, nine Monarchs were honored by the CSC with All-District academic honors AND the men’s and women’s swimming programs earned Scholar All-America honors from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

There’s no greater example of selflessness and playing for a purpose bigger than yourself than the Armed Forces.
This month, our Monarchs got a first hand look and opportunity to be side by side with some of the nation’s elite, spending the day with navy pilots, seeing them at work and then working out along with them!
