It doesn’t quite have the same ring as “lions, tigers and bears”, but that was the lineup for the Monarchs over the weekend, but ODU played zookeeper, taming each one of them on the way to victories!

🔼 Not In Our House. When you’ve got family in the building, you gotta show out. That’s exactly what the ODU women’s squad did on Saturday.

With plenty of alumni in attendance, the Monarchs battled past Georgia State, 73-65, to win their second straight and fifth in the past seven outings. It marks the 12th consecutive victory over the Panthers for ODU.

En’Dya Buford led the way with 18 points, while adding eight rebounds and three assists on the day. Jordan McLaughlin had 12 points and Kaye Clarke chipped in 10 for the Monarchs.

🔼 Connect Four. Temps in the Midwest may have been a little colder, but it didn’t cool down the ODU men’s tennis team.

Taking on Wisconsin and Drake, the Monarchs battled their way to ✌️ victories to improve to 4-0 on the young 2024 spring season.

On Friday evening in Madison, ODU fought their way past the Badgers, 5-2, and on Sunday, at Drake, the Monarchs put together an impressive sweep of the Bulldogs, 7-0.

🔼 Splitting It Up. A trip to Iowa was met with a split for the ODU women’s tennis squad.

The Monarchs competed in the 2024 ITA Kickoff Weekend in Iowa over the weekend, taking down Iowa State on Saturday afternoon (4-0) before falling to #3 Oklahoma State (0-4) on Sunday in the Round of 32 match.
