What’s a better way to get you through the second half of the week than the Lady Monarchs?

That’s right, the 14-5 women’s hoops squad is back on the road today at Texas State looking to keep pace in the Sun Belt.

🔼 On The Road Again. After four straight games on the road, it was nice for the ODU women’s hoops squad to be back home last week.

Now, the Lady Monarchs hit the road yet again for two more this week.

That road trip starts this afternoon against Texas State as ODU looks to keep pace with the top half of a very strong Sun Belt Conference.

🔼 Three Stars. February is just one day away and that means baseball season is getting closer and closer.

The ODU baseball squad is primed for another run at the NCAA Tournament and this week, three of their stars were recognized by Perfect Game.

Jake Ticer, Kyle Edwards and Ben Moore were all named to the Preseason All-Sun Belt team by the organization.

🔼 Preseason Praise. Veteran leadership usually always plays a key role in a team’s success.

That’s a good sign for the ODU women’s lacrosse squad as one of their veterans earned recognition this week with grad student Katie McGrain being named to the American Athletic Conference Preseason squad.

McGrain started all 17 games last year for the Monarchs and is a key cog defensively for ODU.

In ODU’s two home victories last week, En’Dya Buford led the way offensively with 32 points on the week.

The Memphis, Tennessee native continues to pace the Monarch offense with 11.6 ppg.

She also leads the team in 3-pointers. How many has she connected on from beyond the arc?
