TGIF ODU Fam. With March Madness underway, we’ll soon blink and it’ll be football season again.

The Monarchs are getting ahead of the curve and preparation is already underway with spring ball ramping up in a quick way for ODU.

And the dance goes on.

The Monarchs women’s hoops squad continues their historic season with an opening round bye in the WNIT.

ODU will face the winner of UNC Greensboro and North Carolina A&T in the second round which runs from March 23-26.
 
The location and time of that game will be determined after the first round is complete. Teams that received a first round bye are not guaranteed to host the second round.

🔼 Iron Sharpens Iron. How do you prepare for a run at a third bowl game in four years? You go back to the old adage, Iron Sharpens Iron.

With a slew of early seasons tests already on the docket for this upcoming fall, the ODU football team is hitting the spring practice field hard to prepare for what’s to come.

Now, ODU has two more fresh faces joining the family.

Head Coach Mike Jones announced the hiring of James Robinson as an assistant coach and Matt Hamilton as Director of Basketball Operations and Player Personnel.

🔼 And Another One. The list just keeps growing.

Freshman sensation Connor van Schalkwyk of the ODU men’s tennis team is less than a year into his first collegiate season and the list of accolades just keeps getting longer.

After another undefeated week on the court and helping lead his squad to a pair of home sweeps, van Schalkwyk was named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week for the second time this month.
