The ODU women’s basketball team hits the road for the first time in 2024 with four straight games away from home, beginning with a showdown in Myrtle Beach tonight with Coastal Carolina.

Last year’s series was the first two games ever between the programs with the home team winning each game in 2023.

The Monarchs enter tonight’s showdown ranking in the top-40 nationally in five different defensive categories, including the 19th-best scoring defense, allowing just 54.2 ppg.

🔼 Playoffs? We’re Talking About The Playoffs? Another year, another season with Rick Lovato in the NFL playoffs.

The first former Monarch to play in the NFL is now in year nine with the Philadelphia Eagles and in search of his second career Super Bowl ring.

After reaching the Super Bowl last year and losing to the Chiefs, Lovato and the Eagles are the fifth seed in the NFC and take on the Buccaneers on Monday night in Tampa Bay.
