🔼 Protect This House. The always competitive Sun Belt standings are once again a log jam as the ODU women’s basketball team approaches a near mid-way point of the league slate.
This week, the Lady Monarchs host two crucial home games beginning tonight when the Mountaineers of App State roll into town for a midweek showdown at Chartway Arena tonight at 6:30 pm.
🔼 Court Is In Session. For the first time in nearly two months, the ODU tennis programs are set to hit the courts this weekend as the Monarchs’ spring season is on tap.
The men’s squad welcomes Georgetown (Saturday) and Yale (Sunday) to town this weekend for home matches, while the women are competing at the Michigan Duals in Ann Arbor.
🔼 25 Days. Coming off a season in which they posted the most wins in nearly a decade, the ODU lacrosse program is just 25 days away from its season opener.
The Monarchs are set to open their season on Sunday, Feb. 8 when they travel to battle Youngstown State.
🦁 MONARCH TRIVIA
The 70-point mark has been somewhat of a benchmark when it comes to the ODU women’s hoops team over the past two seasons.
The Lady Monarchs have reached 70+ points in 20 games since the start of the 2024-25 season.
