🔼 Wrecking Records. Sure, wins are always great.

But doing so in record-setting fashion? That’s next level.

ODU set three pool records on Friday afternoon as the men’s and women’s swim team defeated American.

The meet began with the women’s 200 medley relay team of Addison Elliott, Adrienne Rinker, Emma Seidel and Bella Pachek won the opening event with a pool record time of 1:44.16.

Elliott gave ODU its second record of the day, securing a win in the 100 backstroke with a pool record time of 55.41. Grey Bremer earned a pool record time in the 500 free with a winning time of 4:29.80.

🔼 Splitting It Up. For the second straight weekend, the ODU men’s tennis team brought up a weekend split, this time at the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Columbus, Ohio.

After dropping a tough opening match to Purdue, the Monarchs bounced back to defeat North Alabama, 4-1, on Saturday to earn their second win of the spring.

Zech Hamrouni and Piet Steveker led the way against UNA with wins in singles and doubles action for ODU.
