The calendar may have changed to 2025, but the focus and goal is still the same for the ODU basketball programs.

On Monday night, both coaches sat down for the first episode of the “Keepin’ Up With the Jones’” Coaches Show to talk about the season so far and the outlook moving forward in conference play.

🔼 Seeking Six. It’s a classic, old school saying in basketball… defense and rebounding win championships.

Nearly halfway through the 2024-25 season, the ODU women’s hoops squad is in good position as they seek a sixth straight win when Coastal Carolina comes to town tonight for a 6:30 tilt at Chartway Arena.

The Lady Monarchs rank ninth nationally in rebounding (43.9) and ninth in third-point defense (24.1-percent).

ODU is looking to make it a perfect 3-0 start in league play when they take the court against the Chanticleers.

🔼 The Journey Ahead. The temps may be dropping around Norfolk, but the ODU rowing team is about to heat things up on the water.

This week, the Monarchs are in the midst of their winter training trip in DeLand, Fla., putting in preparation for the upcoming 2025 season.

On Tuesday, head coach Brian Conley laid out the journey ahead with the unveiling of the full spring schedule, which includes two regattas and two races in Norfolk.
