🔼 There Goes That Man Again. Junior guard Robert Davis, Jr. knew that his team needed a tough road win on Thursday night.

And when he stepped on the court in Conway, S.C., he was a man on a mission.

Davis, Jr. scored 16 points in the opening stanza to give ODU a four-point lead at the break as the Monarchs would fight to a 70-66 road victory over Coastal Carolina.

The Detroit, Mich., native would finish with a game-high 29 points on 11-of-18 shooting, including a season-high five 3-pointers. It’s the second highest single game output of his collegiate career.

KC Shaw finished with 12 points and seven rebounds, while Caelum Swanton-Rodger scored in double-figures for the eighth time this year with 10 points on the night.

🔼 Welcome To The Fam. Coming off one of the best seasons in program history, ODU football head coach Ricky Rahne is ready for more in 2026.

This week, Coach Rhane announced the promotion of Kody Cook to offensive coordinator and will shift to the QB coaching role.

In addition, the Monarchs added Michael Smith as wide receivers coach, Phil Serchia to coach the offensive line and Wendy Laurent to coach the tight ends.
