🔼 Eye On The Prize. With just one regular season game remaining, the ODU women’s soccer team has its eyes on the prize.

A visit from Georgia State gives the Monarchs an opportunity to capture the Sun Belt regular season crown as they sit atop the East Division and just one point back of Texas State and ULM, who are tied atop the West Division.

Kickoff tonight at ODU Soccer Complex is set for 6 p.m.

🔼 Hardware Haul. Hopefully, Puneet Bajwa left a little room in her travel bags for some hardware.

The junior standout for the ODU women’s golf program carded a three-over to earn co-medalist honors at this past weekend’s Lehigh Invitational. She helped lead the Monarchs to a third-place overall finish at the event.

Barbara Car was two strokes back of Bajwa and tied for sixth with a five-over. After turning in a first round of three-over 75, she added a second round of 74. Alina Shchepteva shot a 79 and a 77 to tie for 16th to round out the trio of Monarchs in the top-20 on the leaderboard.

🔼 Looking For Their Ticket. After returning to the win column this past weekend with a gutty 24-21 win over App State, the ODU football team looks to punch their ticket to bowl season when they hit the road to battle ULM in a Saturday afternoon showdown.

After a strong start to the season, the Warhawks have lost four straight heading into this weekend.

A victory by the Monarchs would secure the third bowl bid in the past five seasons for ODU.
