🔼 Boltin’ Colton. Redshirt freshman QB Colton Joseph is making quite a first impression for the Monarchs.

Just four starts into his collegiate career, Joseph is taking Norfolk by storm and is coming off a masterful performance in a thrilling 47-19 home victory over Georgia Southern on national TV.

The Newport Beach, Calif. native finished with 304 passing yards on 20-of-26 passing, while connecting on a career-high four TD passes. He also added eight rushes for 69 yards and a rushing TD.

For his performance, he was named as a Davey O’Brien Great 8 Award nominee while also earning Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week accolades.

Friday at high noon, the Monarchs field hockey squad will host #10 UCONN in a winner-take-all showdown for the BIG EAST regular season championship.

Both teams enter the matchup at 5-1 in conference play and will look to claim the top seed in the upcoming BIG EAST Tournament early next month.
