🔼 Let’s Get This Party Started. No better way to kick off a new month with 🔟 ODU squads in action over the next four days.

The action-packed stretch kicks off at 12 pm today when the Monarchs host #8 UCONN on the field hockey field in a battle for the BIG EAST Regular Season Championship on the line.

Volleyball and swimming are also at home this weekend, while men’s soccer and football have road tests ahead of them.

🔼 Going Out On Top. On Wednesday night, Daniel Hudson bolted out of the Dodgers dugout at Yankee Stadium and into a dogpile as LA clinched the World Series title, defeating the Yankees, four games to one.

Less than an hour later, as the former ODU standout stood in front of his locker, he announced that his 15-year career would come to an end, officially retiring from the Major Leagues.

With this year’s World Series Championship, Hudson locked up his second championship ring as he also was crowned a champion in 2019 with the Washington Nationals.

This postseason, the big right-hander allowed runs in just two of his seven appearances for the Dodgers.

🔼 Top Of The Mountain. The ODU women’s soccer team went on the road and picked up all treats and no tricks on Thursday night, toppling the Mountaineers of App State, 3-1, to wrap up the regular season and head towards next week’s Sun Belt Conference Championship.

With the victory, the Monarchs lock up the #4 seed in the upcoming tournament, which begins on Monday in Foley, Ala.
