🔼 Not In Our House. It hadn’t been since 2016 that ODU football had earned nine regular season wins and went undefeated at home.

Both of those feats were accomplished this past Saturday as the Monarchs grinded out a 27-10 victory over Georgia State in the regular season finale.

It was the fifth win in a row for ODU, who now awaits a bowl bid, which will be announced on Sunday, Dec. 7.

Devin Roche, the redshirt sophomore running back from Baltimore, won the Melvin T. Blassingham Oyster Bowl Most Valuable Player after rushing 21 times for 137 yards and two touchdowns. He also set up the go-ahead field goal early in the third quarter with a 47-yard punt return.

🔼 Monday Night Hoops. There’s no Hank Williams theme song, but Monday Night Hoops is back at Chartway Arena tonight as the ODU women’s hoops team returns home with Delaware State rolling into town.

Tonight’s showdown kicks off a three-game homestand for the Monarchs, including the Sun Belt opener next week against Troy.

Tip time tonight against the Hornets is set for 6:30 pm.
