🔼 Monday Night Matchup. While the rest of us are trying to finish up last minute shopping, the ODU women’s hoops team is set to finish up its non-conference slate today when they battle Indiana State in the final game of the Cherokee Invitational.

On Sunday, the Monarchs went toe-to-toe with #14 Ole Miss, before the Rebels pulled away late to take the victory.

ODU is looking to finish non-conference play with an eighth win before heading back into conference play on New Year’s Day against Georgia Southern.

Tip time tonight is set for 5 p.m.

Earlier this month, the ODU women’s hoops squad added two new members to that family with the signing of Ar’jayla Elder (Dallas, Texas) and Journee Hampton (Lancaster, Texas) to the next year’s recruiting class.

“Elder and Hampton are two of the best high school guards in the highly coveted state of Texas girls high school basketball,” said ODU Recruiting Coordinator and Assistant Coach Roland Jones Jr. “The projection of these two players are an instant impact to the ODU women’s basketball program.”
