🔼 Bragging Rights Obtained. Sometimes all you need is a little taste of home.

After getting a few days to enjoy the Thanksgiving break, the ODU men’s basketball returned to action ready to make a statement and that’s exactly what they did on Monday night.

Battling their way in front of the home crowd, ODU grabbed bragging rights, defeating nearby rival, William & Mary, 88-83.

6️⃣ Monarchs finished in double-figures led by Sean Durugordon, who posted yet another double-double with a season-high 24 points, along with 13 rebounds.

R.J. Blakney (13), Jaden Johnson (12), and Stephaun Walker, Caelum Swanton-Rodger and Devin Ceaser (10 points apiece) were also in double figures.

🔼 Quality Quinn. It took just one play for Quinn Henicle to introduce himself to the ODU faithful.

Taking the first play 92 yards to the house, Henicle led a potent offensive attack for ODU in Saturday’s road win at Arkansas State.

His performance against the Redwolves earned him Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week accolades.

🔼 Ruling the Rankings. As the fall season comes to a close and the Monarchs look towards the spring season, they will do so with several ranked numbers next to their names.

On the women’s side, after a monster fall season, Sofia Johnson sits at #7 nationally, while the men have two players inside the top-90 and three doubles duos inside the top-100.
