🔼 Double The Pleasure. Crunch time has arrived for the ODU basketball programs with just three weeks remaining in regular season Sun Belt play.

Tonight, Monarch fans get a chance to get a double dose of hoops with a Chartway Arena doubleheader on the docket.

At 5 pm, the ODU women’s hoops squad hits the court to battle Coastal as the Monarchs look to battle for position in the league standings, currently sitting just 2.5 games out of a top-five spot.

The nightcap comes at 7:30 pm when the men host one of the Sun Belt’s top teams in Marshall. With six games remaining, there are seven teams within 2.5 games of each other in the Sun Belt Conference standings.

🔼 Game Week! We can all agree that we’ve had enough of winter, it’s now baseball season.

ODU baseball officially hits the diamond for the 2026 season opener this weekend when Quinnipiac rolls into town for a three-game set at Ellmer Family Baseball Complex at TowneBank Field.

The Monarchs have contracted with a leading national seating company to install temporary seating that, along with standing room, will accommodate nearly 1,000 spectators, with most over-hanging the left-field fence.

First pitch for this weekend’s series are set for 2pm (Friday), 2pm (Saturday) and 1 pm (Sunday).

🔼 Preseason Praise. With the season opener just over a month away, the ODU rowing squad had three of its own earn preseason accolades.

Late last week, ODU’s Molly Deegan, Monroe LaRochelle, and Makenzie Sourbrine have been selected to the For Stars Network Annual Watchlist for Division I women’s rowing.
