🔼 They’reee Bacckkk. The long wait is finally over.. Monarch baseball is BACK!

While home games may feel a little different this spring, ODU is ready to take on a challenging 2025 slate, which starts TODAY in Atlanta when the Monarchs kick off a three-game set against ACC foe Georgia Tech squad.

A familiar name will be on the call this weekend as ODU announced this week that Josh Caray, son of Skip Caray and grandson of Harry Caray, will be on the call for the Monarchs three-game set in Atlanta, as well as the three game series in Auburn next month.

The games will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1310 AM.

⚾️: Previewing The Weekend Matchup

🔼 Court Master. Ever since he stepped on campus, it’s been clear Cosme Rolland De Ravel is the real deal.

In his first two seasons, he piled up a 43-19 record in singles and ridiculous 55-11 mark in doubles action. That strong play hasn’t slowed down as a junior for Rolland De Ravel.

This past week, he piled up a 3-0 record in ODU’s wins over Virginia Tech and Charlotte to earn Sun Belt Men’s Tennis Player of the Week honors.

🎾: More On The Award-Winning Week

🔼 Academic Aces. Sure the ODU field hockey program is recognized among the best in the country on the field.

But that success doesn’t slow down off the field as the Monarchs continued their strong performance in the classroom yet again.

This week, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association has released its 2024 Division I National Academic Squad with 15 ODU Field Hockey members making the list.

Student-athletes must earn a 3.5 GPA throughout the fall academic semester and current academic year.

The ODU Basketball: Keeping Up With The Joneses Coaches Show was back this week for another episode on Monday at Recovery Sports Grill in Norfolk from 6-7 pm.

Hosted by Matthew Hatfield, the Voice of the Lady Monarchs, he was joined by both Head Coaches, Mike Jones and DeLisha Milton-Jones, who talked about what’s ahead in the final weeks of the regular season.
