🏈 YOUNG AND HUNGRY

Ever since the ODU football team stepped off the field in Jonesboro, Ark. last November for the final time, the focus has been building for 2025.

The Monarchs are young and hungry, led by a versatile and talented group of QBs.

Max with Minium sat down with Coach Rahne to dive into what the Monarchs are looking to accomplish when spring ball opens up in Norfolk on Thursday.

🔼 Rollin’ On The Road. Make it seven straight for the ODU women’s tennis team.

The Lady Monarchs stayed hot and continue to dominate in league play, picking up a 5-1 victory over Troy on Saturday, followed by a 4-1 win over Georgia State on Sunday.

ODU is now 9-3 overall and 4-0 in league play heading into this morning’s showdown with 24th-ranked Georgia Tech.

🔼 Flyin’ High. Coming off the best season of his three years in the NFL, former ODU star Stone Smartt is heading east.

Last season, Smartt caught a career-high 19 passes for 208 yards with the Los Angeles Chargers. He went on an early season stretch where he caught multiple passes in six straight games for the Bolts.

🔼 Grand Opening. Tough to find a better way to start conference play than how the ODU women’s lacrosse team got things started.

In its American Athletic Conference opener, the Lady Monarchs jumped out to a 5-0 start in the first quarter and rolled to a 15-9 home victory over visiting Charlotte on Saturday afternoon in Norfolk.

Alex Kulinski and Ella Bowen led the way, each notching a hat trick on the day, while Sydney Taylor reached a milestone with her third quarter goal, eclipsing her 100th career point.

🦁 MONARCH TRIVIA

After shutting out the 22nd-ranked Golden Eagles of Southern Miss for seven innings on Sunday, Blake Morgan pushed his record to 2-1 on the year.
