🔼 Leading The Pack. Over the course of 92 seasons, 13 different managers have led the Monarch baseball program.

With a resilient, hard-fought 13-7 victory over App State on Friday night, ODU head coach Chris Finwood took his place atop that list of managers with his 424th career victory with the Monarchs.

Finwood, who now sits at 424-343 in his 15 seasons, surpasses Bud Metheny, who went 423-363-6 during his time at the helm of ODU.

🔼 Heating Up. As the weather starts to turn a corner towards spring, the ODU women’s tennis team is heating up at the same time.

On Friday, the Monarchs picked up their second straight victory, defeating in-state foe, VCU, 4-1 at Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.

ODU now heads into Sun Belt conference play next weekend as the Monarchs aim for their sixth consecutive league title next month.

🔼 Pickin’ Up A Pair. The ODU men’s tennis squad continued its strong play with a pair of wins over Philadelphia teams beginning with a 4-0 sweep of Saint Joseph’s on Thursday, followed by another 4-0 sweep of #42 Penn on Sunday.

With the two victories, the Monarchs have now won six of their past eight matches and are 7-2 at home this spring.
