🔼 Opening Pitch. Tonight in San Francisco, the 2026 Major League Baseball season gets underway when the New York Yankees battle the San Francisco Giants.

Former ODU hurler Ryan Yarbrough will be involved in the action as he begins his ninth MLB season with the Yankees.

🔼 Midweek Matchup. Looking to bounce back after a weekend loss, the ODU lacrosse team hits the road to take on Coastal Carolina this afternoon in Myrtle Beach.

Senior Brynn Bowen has recorded 102 saves so far this spring, which currently ranks fourth most in the entire country.

🔼 Busy Boats. As the weather starts to warm up, the ODU sailing squads are getting busier and busier on the water.

This past weekend, the Monarchs hit the water in three different races in Norfolk.

ODU finished second in the Hanbury Trophy, placed seventh in the Aaron Szambecki Team Race, and ODU women’s sailing competed in the Blaire Herron Memorial Team Race and placed seventh.
