🔼 Path To Perfection. Today begins a quest for something that hasn’t been done in seven years for the Monarchs.

This morning, the ODU women’s tennis team kicks off three straight days of tennis matches at Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center as both tennis squads seek to close out their 2025 spring seasons with unbeaten records in conference play.

On the men’s side, the Monarchs host Southern Miss on Saturday and Louisiana on Sunday with a chance to also go unbeaten and claim the regular season title. A single win this weekend secures at least a share of the crown.

🔼 Chart Climbing. ODU legend Justin Verlander continues to climb the charts in his 20th Major Leage season.

On Wednesday night, Verlander punched out a season-high nine opposing hitters in a come-from-behind win over the Cincinnati Reds. With his 16 strikeouts in three starts this season, the right-hander now sits just 68 strikeouts away from becoming just the 10th pitcher in MLB history to reach 3,500 career strikeouts.

🔼 Milestone Match. For four years, she was an anchor on the ODU women’s soccer team, serving as a two-time team captain and earning All-American status while helping the Monarchs to multiple conference titles.

Now, she’s taken her success to another level as this week, Ece Turkoglu, was honored for reaching 100 games played with the Turkish National Team.

Well done Ece!

🏈 ONE WEEK AWAY!

Clear the calendars, ODU fans.

The Priority Charity Bowl ODU Spring Game is set for Saturday, April 19 at 2 p.m. at Kornblau Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium.

Immediately following the game, ODU will host its first-ever Fan Field Day, turning the field into an interactive experience for the whole family.
