🔼 Coming Home. The ODU Baseball team returns to Ellmer Family Baseball Complex to kickoff a five-game home standout beginning with a visit from in-state foe, Richmond.
With five weeks left in the regular season, the Monarchs will look to get some momentum heading into next month’s Sun Belt Tournament with the league standings being a logjam midway through the year.
Today is the second meeting between the Monarchs and Spiders this spring with ODU grabbing a 7-2 win in Richmond back on March 25.
🔼 Tourney Time. The postseason has arrived for the ODU men’s tennis program.
Winners of seven of their past eight, the Monarchs earned the No. 1 seed for this weekend’s Sun Belt Conference Tournament in Rome, Ga.
ODU is looking to secure its fourth-straight SBC Championship after besting second seed Georgia Southern for the title last year.
🔼 Sailing Away. It was another busy weekend on the water for the ODU sailing program.
The Monarchs’ open sailing finished third at The Grant, the women’s sailing team placed eighth at the MAISA Women’s Team Race Championship, and the open sailing team finished ninth at the Truxtun Umstead Open Fleet Race.
🔼 Weekend Work. It was a strong weekend of work on the water for the ODU women’s rowing squad at the highly-competitive Knecht Cup on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill N.J.
Three boats advanced to the semifinal races amongst a loaded field of competition.
