Clear the calendars, ODU fans.

The Priority Charity Bowl ODU Spring Game is set for THIS SATURDAY at 2 p.m. at Kornblau Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium.

This annual spring football tradition—free and open to the public—marks the culmination of ODU’s spring practice and offers fans a unique opportunity to get an early look at the 2025 Monarchs. Gates are set to open at 1 p.m.

Immediately following the game, ODU will host its first-ever Fan Field Day, turning the field into an interactive experience for the whole family. Fans will have the rare chance to go on the field to meet ODU Football players and coaches, along with student-athletes from ODU Men’s Basketball and Women’s Tennis. The event will feature autograph sessions, photo opportunities, and on-field activities for fans of all ages—including chances to win exclusive ODU fan packs.

🔼 Showin’ Out. There’s no one who shows school spirit more than the ODU spirit squads.

This past weekend, the Monarchs put that spirit on display amongst some of the best team in the countries as they traveled to Daytona, Fla. to compete in the NCA College Nationals Competition.

Facing off against 15 other schools in the Intermediate Small Coed Division IA, the Monarchs placed sixth in the final tally.

“The competition is an incredibly intense and competitive environment where college cheerleaders get to showcase their talent and skills. For those who’ve never been, it can feel overwhelming and even a little intimidating,” said ODU Head Coach Tara Hilbert. “But at the end of the day, every team shares the same goal–to hit zero deductions. That was our goal, and we did just that!” 

🔼 The Power of Family. For decades Ted Alexander has been the voice, passion and love of the ODU Family.

Now, the ODU Family is giving the same love and support back to Alexander after he lost his loving wife back in March.

This past week, he stepped behind the microphone for the first time in a few months.
