🔼 And Another One. We’re not sure if Sarah Murrell is a DJ Khaled fan or not, but one thing’s for sure, the popular “Another One” GIF could be used over and over for her first season with the Lady Monarchs.

For the fifth time this spring, the young sensation for the ODU lacrosse team was named the American Athletic Conference’s Freshman of the Week.

Murrell scored four goals and dished an assist in an 11-10 overtime loss to Robert Morris. The freshman from Perryville, Maryland added on seven draw controls and is fourth in the AAC averaging 2.6 goals per game.

Murrell leads ODU with 34 goals and five assists for 39 points. She has taken 75 shots with 54 (72% SOG) and the freshman has collected 15 ground balls, caused 10 turnovers, and secured 60 draw controls.

🔼 Future So Bright, We Need Shades. You could see the foundation for the ODU men’s soccer program being built last fall in the first year under Tennant McVea.

Now, the future continues to get brighter and brighter on the recruiting trail.

McVea and his staff have lined up a top-25 recruiting class according to the latest rankings from TopDrawerSoccer.
