📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Car Cruisin’. For the second time in the past four seasons, an Old Dominion women’s golfer has won the Sun Belt Conference Women’s Golf Championship.

This time around, it was sophomore Barbara Car who won the conference tournament with a seven-under par 209. Entering the final round of stroke play tied for fifth with a one-under 143 through the first 36 holes, she rattled off six birdies on Wednesday, including four on the front nine, for a final round of six-under 66.

Car'ss 66 set the lowest single-round score in Sun Belt Wimen's Golf Championship history at Lakewood Golf Club. She also earned All-Tournament Team honors for finishing in the Top-6.

🔼 Hauling ‘Em In. After bringing home the Sun Belt Conference Tournament trophy over the weekend, the 53rd-ranked ODU men’s tennis team brought home even more honors this week.

The Monarchs swept the Sun Belt Conference major awards as Adam Majchrzak earned Player of the Year, Zech Hamrouni Freshman of the Year, Piet Steveker was named Newcomer of the Year, and Dominik Mueller received Coach of the Year honors for the second-straight year.

🔼 Georgia On The Mind. With only a month left in the regular season, it’s crunch time for the ODU Baseball program as the Monarchs roll down the stretch of Sun Belt play.

This weekend, ODU heads south to Atlanta for a HUGE three-game set with Georgia State, who is currently tied with the Monarchs for the 10th and final spot in the Sun Belt Tournament scheduled for late May.

Game times against the Panthers are set for 6 pm on Friday, 4 pm on Saturday and 1 pm on Sunday.

🔼 Mighty Molly. The ODU sailing squad wanted to jump in on the accolades party this week as well!

On Wednesday, junior Molly Hanson was named to the 2026 All-MAISA Second Team Crew.

The Hampton, Virginia, native was featured in all nine races during the spring season. She was paired with Marina Conde at the MAISA Spring Women’s Fleet Race Championship on March 28 and came in first with a final score of 53. She finished second out of four schools at the ODU Women’s Team Race on February 28 and placed sixth out of 12 competitors at the 2026 Jen Harris Team Race on March 7.
