🔼 She’sss Bacckkk. For the past two seasons, she’s been a steady force for the ODU women’s basketball program.

Now, she’s back for one more year with the Lady Monarchs.

In her two seasons with the Lady Monarchs, the play-making guard has earned back-to-back All-Sun Belt accolades, including Second Team honors this past season. She’s averaged 12.9 ppg, 5.4 rpg and 3.3 apg in 81 games played at ODU.

Off the court, the communications major earned a 3.51 GPA and was recently named to the CSC Academic All-District squad.

🔼 Locked It Up. The red-hot ODU women’s tennis team locked up the top spot in the upcoming Sun Belt Conference Tournament this weekend with a pair of 4-0 road sweeps of Louisiana and Texas State.

With the two wins, the Lady Monarchs have now won 12 of their past 13 matches and are a perfect 9-0 in league play.

A victory next weekend in one of their final two regular season matches would clinch the outright Sun Belt regular season title.

🔼 Royal Rule. For the fifth time in the past six matches, the ODU men’s tennis team rolled to a victory, this time sweeping their way past JMU, 4-0, in the Townebank Royal Rivalry on Saturday afternoon in Norfolk.

The sweep was the fifth of the year for the Monarchs who improved to 5-0 in league play entering next weekend’s final two regular season matches before the Sun Belt Tournament later this month.

🔼 The Big 4-0-0. Nothing like a little ranked W to give you 400, right?

That’s what the ODU baseball squad did on Sunday as they took down #20 Troy, 9-5, in the Sun Belt series finale to give head coach Chris Finwood his 400th career victory at ODU.

Leading the way offensively was Efrain Morales with a four-hit day and Kyle Edwards, who launched two HRs on the afternoon.

🏈 SPRINGIN’ INTO ACTION

Clear the calendars, ODU fans.

The Priority Charity Bowl ODU Spring Game is set for Saturday, April 19 at 2 p.m. at Kornblau Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium.

This annual spring football tradition—free and open to the public—marks the culmination of ODU’s spring practice and offers fans a unique opportunity to get an early look at the 2025 Monarchs. Gates are set to open at 1 p.m.

Immediately following the game, ODU will host its first-ever Fan Field Day, turning the field into an interactive experience for the whole family. Fans will have the rare chance to go on the field to meet ODU Football players and coaches, along with student-athletes from ODU Men’s Basketball and Women’s Tennis. The event will feature autograph sessions, photo opportunities, and on-field activities for fans of all ages—including chances to win exclusive ODU fan packs.
