The red hot ODU baseball team continued its hot streak, rolling to a sweep of JMU in the final chapter of the 2024-25 TowneBank Royal Rivalry.
With the three victories, the Monarchs have now won six straight, eight of their past 10 and have punched their ticket to the 2025 Sun Belt Championship later this month in Montgomery, Alabama.
🔼 Country’s Finest. For nearly the past two decades, DeLisha Milton-Jones has been connected to USA Basketball.
That connection will be back in action this summer as Coach Milton-Jones was named an assistant for the 2025 USA Basketball Women’s FIBA AmeriCup Team.
Dukes’ Kara Lawson was named the team’s head coach, and assisting with Milton-Jones will be Oklahoma’s Jennie Baranczyk.
Milton-Jones assumes her third USA Basketball assistant coaching position; she has served in the role at the 2023 FIBA Women's U19 World Cup, helping the team to a gold medal with a 69-66 win over Spain, and at the 2022 FIBA U18 Women's Americas Championship.
Milton-Jones, the women’s basketball head coach at Old Dominion, also served as a court coach at the 2019 Women's U19 and Pan American Games trials. As a player, she captured six gold medals and earned five international tournament titles for the United States, including at the 2008 and 2000 Olympic Games.
🔼 A Dream Come True. Graduation weekend is full of celebration, reflection and accomplishment.
For ODU swimmer Lauren Masters, graduation weekend meant checking off one of her goals and becoming even closing to her dream that is already in motion.

In Saturday’s win over the Dukes, Luke Waters posted his second career five hit day, going 5-for-5 with three runs scored and three RBIs.
