🔼 One Last (Home) Stand. This quote from head coach Chris Finwood sums up the spring that ODU baseball has endured.

“Anybody who thinks doing something like this is hard and think they are ready for it, they’re not. It’s been way harder than I thought it would be. You can’t even describe how hard it is to never really play at home.”

The Monarchs have battled their way through a challenging schedule, a nomadic lifestyle and earned a spot in next week’s Sun Belt Championship in Montgomery, Ala.

For now, ODU will host #8 Coastal Carolina two more times, tonight and tomorrow, after nearly earning a second top-10 win in the past two years on Friday night in a 6-3 loss to the Chanticleers.

🔼 Academic Aces. Sure, the success was once again overflowing on the court for the ODU tennis programs this spring.

But that’s not the only place where the Monarchs had success.

This week, five ODU tennis standouts earned recognition for their prowess in the classroom with Sofia Johnson, Victoria Matasova and Lidiia Rasskouskaia from the women’s squad and Aryan Saleh and Codie Van Schalkwyk from the men’s team all being honored.
