🔼 Ladies Night. Who doesn’t love a little night out with the ladies?
How about getting the girls together and enjoying a night on the gridiron as Coach Rahne and his staff will host the first-ever ODU Football Women’s Clinic next month.
Set for Friday, June 20th at 3 pm, the clinic will include a tour of both the L.R. Hill Sports Complex and S.B. Ballard Stadiums, as will instruction from ODU’s coaching staff on a variety of areas, including strength and conditioning and a breakdown of offense, defense and special teams.
The clinic will include offensive and defensive field work and a Q&A session with women that work in the athletics department at ODU.

🔼 One Smart Cookie. You know those people you run into in life and you just know they’ll be successful in whatever they do?
Sydnee Blackurn is one of those people.
A senior on the ODU rowing team, Blackburn was named Big 12 Co-Scholar Athlete of the Year late last week.
She is the first Old Dominion athlete to win a yearly BIG 12 award. She was voted a team captain and was positioned at the three-seat on ODU’s 1V8+ during the BIG 12 Championship last week.
The senior out of Chesapeake, Virginia just completed her degree in nursing and had a cumulative GPA of a 3.9. She volunteers at a local hospital in her free time and will begin her career in a pediatric neonatal ICU.

🔼 Fought Til The End. The nomadic life of the 2025 season has come to a close for the ODU baseball team.
After traveling over 14,000 miles, picking up four top-25 wins and grinding to the very last pitch, the Monarchs saw their season come to a close in the Sun Belt quarterfinals on Friday afternoon in Montgomery, Ala.
ODU played just 16 “home” games in the Norfolk area this spring, but will return to a newly renovated Bud Metheny Baseball Complex next spring after the extensive makeover is complete.
