🔼 The Exterminators. If anyone has a spider issue, we know who to call… the ODU Baseball Team.
For the third time this year, the Monarchs defeated the Richmond Spiders, this time thanks to Maverick Stallings, who launched two HRs into the night to help secure the 7-5 victory for ODU.
Stallings finished 3-for-3 with the two homers, three runs, three RBIs, and a pair of walks. Efrain Morales doubled, scored twice, and also walked twice. Zach Leite went 1-for-2 with one RBI and was hit by pitch twice.
Patrick Johnson improved to 3-1 after shutting out the Spiders for three complete innings out of the bullpen. He didn’t give up a hit, walked one, and struck out five of the nine batters he faced.

Maybe it’s not that much of a guarantee, but it’s getting pretty close as the Monarchs once again rolled to Sun Belt titles this spring and yet another appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
