On this special Hometown Heroes episode of Behind the Reign, Zion Frink,
Leon Haughton Jr., and Koa Naotala share stories from growing up in Virginia, finding
their way to ODU, and building their own legacies as Monarchs.
The trio talks football, family, NIL opportunities, team culture, and what
fans can expect from ODU this season.

🔼 Countin’ Down The Days. Sometimes you have to give some love to the special teams guys.
We are just 96 days away from kickoff!
Wearing #96 this year for the Monarchs is redshirt junior punter Ian Brandt, who appeared in all 13 games as the team’s primary punter and holder on extra points and field goals.
The State College, Pa., native had 18 punts downed inside the 20 and nine punts of 50+ yards.
🔼 Helping Hands. The success of the ODU men’s soccer team this past year wasn’t limited to the pitch.
🔼 What A Run. The tennis world is learning more and more about Yuliia Starodubtseva.
Last week at the French Open, the former ODU All-American turned heads with the biggest upset of tournament, taking down second-seeded Elena Rybakina to advance to the Round of 32.
