🔼 Dreams Become Reality. It was a dream that they’ve had since they were old enough to hold a baseball.

Earlier this week, that dream became reality for three of our own.

Dylan Brown, Ben Moore, and Blake Morgan all heard their names called on Monday during the 2025 Major League Baseball Draft.

Brown went to the Boston Red Sox with the 238th pick of the eighth round, Moore was selected by the Washington Nationals with the 351st pick of the 12th round, and Morgan was taken by the Tampa Bay Rays with the 567th pick of the 19th round.

🔼 Preseason Praise. We may be over 40 days away from the start of the 2025 season, but the preseason praise is already well underway for the ODU Football team.

Eight ODU standouts were named to the Athlon Magazine Preseason team, including four first team all-conference selections in offensive lineman Zach Barlev, defensive end Kris Trinidad and linebackers Jason Henderson and Mario Thompson.

In honor of the 45 days until ODU football season….

Ray Lawry rumbled through opposing defenses throughout his
four-year standout career at ODU from 2014 to 2017.

Lawry finished his award-winning career with a program record 4️⃣5️⃣ TDs, including three seasons of 10+ touchdown with a career-high 16 coming in 2014.
