🔼 Setting The Slate. Clear the calendars, Monarch Nation, we’ve got games to fill in.
This week, ODU men’s basketball head coach Mike Jones unveiled the Monarchs’ 2026-27 non-conference schedule. The upcoming season will see ODU play 14 non-conference games, which include eight at Chartway Arena.
This season’s non-conference slate includes games against teams from the A10, ACC, Big South, CAA, MAC, MEAC, and the Patriot League.
“We are very excited to announce our 2026-2027 non-conference schedule. Being able to get more home games and to continue series with some of our natural rivals is important,” said Jones.

ODU Head Coach and Los Angeles Sparks legend DeLisha Milton-Jones stood at mid-court in LA and watched as her jersey was retired by the franchise on Tuesday night.

Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of ODU Football this fall. The Monarchs will host
Norfolk State on September 5 at 6 p.m.
During the most high-scoring era of ODU Football, Jarod Brown lined up and booted balls through the uprights for the Monarchs.
In his four years with the Monarchs, Brown made 234 PATs and 49 field goals, good for 3️⃣8️⃣2 points, which still stands as the program record for most points scored.
His 3️⃣8️⃣2 points is 66 more than any other player in program history.
