🎥 BEHIND THE REIGN: KENDALL HARRIS
One of the many new faces on this year's ODU Football roster is WR Kendall Harris, a 6-1, 200-pound pass catching machine that arrived in Norfolk after three seasons at Mercer.
In one of the latest editions of the Behind The Reign podcast on Monarchs+, Harris sits down to talk about his story, what it's like being in Norfolk and so much more.

This week, ODU Football’s standout running back was named to the Doak Walker Award Watch List.
The Doak Walker Award is given to the nation’s most outstanding college running back.
A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Roche started six games at running back in 2025 for the Monarchs, rushing for 630 yards on 111 carries and four touchdowns. He recorded three, 100-yard rushing games including a career high 145 yards in the win over Troy and 100 yards in the StaffDNA Cure Bowl win over South Florida.
🔼 Secure Your Spot. This week, ODU Athletics announced that season ticket renewals for the 2026-27 men's and women's basketball seasons are on sale NOW!
Current season ticket holders have until Tuesday, Sept. 29 to renew their seats for another season of Monarch basketball at Chartway Arena.
New season tickets for both ODU men's and women's basketball are also available for Monarch fans.
🔼 Doublin’ Up. What’s better than an ODU Game Day? How about ✌️ games on the same day!
That’s what tomorrow brings for the Monarchs as both the men’s and women’s soccer team are in action on the road.
The men kickoff their 2026 slate with a matinee showdown (2 p.m.) in the nation’s capital against George Washington.
A few hours later, the women’s squad takes on an old conference foe, UNCW, in Wilmington. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
🏈 COUNTIN’ DOWN: 1️⃣7️⃣ DAYS TIL KICKOFF
Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of ODU Football this fall. The Monarchs will host
Norfolk State on September 5 at 6 p.m.
Back in the ODU jersey for his final collegiate season, WR Sidney Mbanasor is looking to have a breakout season for the Monarchs this fall.
After starting his collegiate career at Utah and then spending a season at Tulane, Mbanasor landed in Norfolk last year, playing in eight games in 2025.
The Texas native hauled in six catches for 68 yards and provides ODU with a big body target in the red zone, standing at 6-5, 220-pounds.
