One of the many new faces on this year's ODU Football roster is kicker Andrew Nelms. The Georgia native arrived on campus after spending last season at FAU and is ready to make an impact on the Monarchs special teams unit this upcoming fall.

🔼 High Five! Less than two minutes into the match on Monday, the ODU men’s soccer team found the back of the net.
That would only be a preview of what the rest of the day would look like as the Monarchs lit up the back of the net en route to a 5-3 victory over visiting Elon.
With the win, ODU moves to 2-0 for the first time in nine years.

Earlier this week, ODU women’s basketball and head coach DeLisha Milton-Jones unveiled its full non-conference slate for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
Highlighting the schedule is seven home games, including visits from in-state foes Virginia and William & Mary.
🏈 COUNTIN’ DOWN: 1️⃣0️⃣ DAYS TIL KICKOFF
A player that the ODU faithful can’t wait to see back in action this fall is #1️⃣0️⃣ Koa Naotala.
A two-year captain for the Monarchs, Naotala missed all, but one game last year due to an injury, but returns to Norfolk for one final season.
In 27 career games at ODU, the Newport News, Va., native has racked up 117 tackles, six TFLs and 3.5 sacks.
He was a Second Team All-Sun Belt selection in 2024 after posting a team-leading 88 tackles.
