🔼 We Talkin’ Bout Practice. Well, the quiet of the summer months is changing quick around campus.

The ODU football and women’s soccer team off and running and the rest of the Monarch squads aren’t far behind.

Joining the action this week will be the field hockey, volleyball and men’s soccer programs.

🔼 Eyes On Us. While the start of the season is still several weeks away, a trio of Monarchs are already turning heads as camp gets underway.

Defensive standouts Mario Thompson Jr., Jason Henderson and Kris Trinidad were all named to the East-West Shrine Bowl Watch List recently.

Additionally, Henderson earned a spot on yet another Watch List, being named to the Dick Butkus Watch List entering his final season with the Monarchs.

🔼 Fresh Face. Plenty of new faces will be reppin’ ODU uniforms when the Monarchs hit the court for the 2025-26 season in Novemeber.

Let’s meet one of the newest faces in freshman forward Eljiah Flowers.

In honor of the 26 days until ODU football season….

The name Colby Goodwyn carries a lot of weight around the 757 area.

Not only did the former tailback have a standout career at Phoebus High School,
he was a workhorse during his ODU career as well,
racking up 2️⃣6️⃣ total TDs as a Monarch.

He also sits fourth all-time with 1,583 yards on the ground.
