🏈 COUNTIN’ DOWN: 3️⃣1️⃣ DAYS TIL KICKOFF
Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of ODU Football this fall. The Monarchs will host
Norfolk State on September 5 at 6 p.m.
Hosting ULM on the first Saturday of November last season, ODU football beat the Warhawks 3️⃣1️⃣-6 to move to 6-3 and earn bowl eligibility.
The Monarchs threw for 231 yards and rushed for 160 more against ULM, outgaining the Warhawks by 98 yards.

🔼 Watch Out. Old Dominion defensive tackle Chris Forbes has been named to the 2026 Outland Trophy Watch List, which is awarded annually to the top interior lineman, offensive or defensive, in the country.
🔼 Return Of The MAC. Old Dominion women’s soccer landed a pair of players on the 2026 MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List, with defenders Ashlynn Kulha and Libby Holmes each earning the honor.
🔼 Crushing In The Classroom. Old Dominion field hockey got the job done in the classroom this past year, with 19 student-athletes earning a spot on the BIG EAST All-Academic Team, the conference announced this week.

In this day and age of college football, it’s rare to see a student-athlete at one for school for his entire career. But Mario Easterly isn’t just another student-athlete.
With his final season at ODU on the horizon, Easterly sat down with Voice of the Monarchs, Ted Alexander, to reflect on his career and look forward to his final season in Norfolk.
