🔼 Helping Hands. Not only does Koa Naotala make an impact on the field, but his impact is even greater off the field.

This week, he was recognized for that work off the field as a nominee for the 2025 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team®.

College football student-athletes and head coaches from all levels of the sport are recognized for their commitment to community service and leadership beyond the gridiron.

🔼 Academic Aces. Another week, another academic honor for the Monarchs.

This week, it was the men’s golf program who earned the 2024-25 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award for a fourth consecutive year.

Programs receiving the award earned a combined team GPA of at least a 3.0 based on a 4.0 scale.

🔼 Fresh Face. Plenty of new faces will be reppin’ ODU uniforms when the Monarchs hit the court for the 2025-26 season in November.

Let’s meet one of the newest faces in forward Jared Turner.

⏱️ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 2️⃣4️⃣ DAYS

In honor of the 24 days until ODU football season….

Opportunity knocks for #2️⃣4️⃣, sophomore linebacker Dirrick Goodman.

Goodman is part of an uber-talented linebacking group and emerged as one
of ODU’s steadiest special teams players in true freshman season of 2024.

He played in 11 games for the Monarchs last fall with majority of his snaps coming
on the special teams unit. This year, he’s looking to make even more noise
with the defensive unit and continue to emerge for the Monarchs.

Earlier this week, Jason Henderson added yet another watch list to his resume as he was one of 46 players named to the Walter Camp Award Player of the Year Watch List.
