🔼 Tomorrow, Tomorrow... Finally! The Monarchs are back in action!

There’s no other place to be tomorrow night than ODU Soccer Complex as the 2024-25 athletic calendar officially gets underway when longtime rival, VCU, visits Norfolk for the season opener for both squads.

🔼 On Repeat. Stop us if you’ve heard this before… Jason Henderson made a preseason watch list.

That’s right, that’s watch list number 4️⃣ for our defensive captain.

This week, Henderson was named to the 2024 Bednarik Award Watch List, which is given annually to the nation’s top defender.

Henderson is second among active college football players in career tackles and is 142 tackles away from the FBS record.

🏈 COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 17 DAYS

Number of the Day: 17

In his first season at ODU last fall, Grant Wilson stepped into
the starting QB role and tossed for 17 TDs for the Monarchs.

Wilson finished the season having played in 12 games, starting 11 of them.
He finished with 2,149 yards passing, 289 yards rushing
and 21 total TDs (four rushing, 17 passing).
