🔼 Home Sweet Home. After a tough battle against 20th-ranked Indiana this past weekend in Bloomington, the ODU football squad is ready to be back in the comforts of home and will do so this Saturday when NC Central comes to town.

The Monarchs are coming off the loss to the Hoosiers in which they showed flashes of potential for the rest of the season.

Kickoff this weekend at Ballard Stadium is set for 6 pm.

🔼 All Tied Up. For their second straight road game, the ODU men’s soccer team is heading home with a draw after tying Lehigh on Tuesday afternoon, 2-2.

The Monarchs got goals from Evan Watt and Alex Kryazhev, but a goal by the Mountain Hawks in the final two minutes of the game evened things up.

ODU is back in Pennsylvania this weekend with a road showdown at Bucknell on Sunday afternoon.

🔼 History On The Horizon. With 25 games remaining, a pair of former Monarchs find themselves right in the middle of the hunt for October and one is on the edge of history.

ODU alums Matt Quatraro is now in his third season as the manager of the Kansas City Royals and his first baseman is a former Monarch as well in Vinnie Pasquantino.

Pasquantino enters the final month of the regular season needing just five RBI to become the first former Monarch to reach 100+ RBI in a single MLB season.
