🔼 Grounding The Falcons. Big time players make big time plays in big time moments.

The ODU football team got exactly that on Saturday in an absolute thriller on the road, bringing home a 30-27 victory over Bowling Green.

Backup quarterback Colton Joseph led a game-winning 13 play, 79-yard drive culminated by a four-yard touchdown run from Aaron Young with under a minute to play.

Redshirt senior tight end Pat Conroy had a career day with 99 yards receiving and two TDs, while Joseph and Young combined for 139 yards on the ground and each had a rushing TD.

🔼 What A Run. Anytime you beat a ranked opponent, it’s a good win.

Well, how about beating three of them?

That’s the type of week ODU women’s tennis Sofia Johnson had, beating three opponents ranked in the top-60 nationally as she made a run to the consolation semifinals at the ITA All-American Championships in Cary, N.C.

Johnson finished 4-2 for the week amongst a loaded field of the nation’s top competitors.

A year after the Royals lost 106 games, former ODU All-American Matt Quatraro helped lead Kansas City to a playoff spot in 2024, clinching a wild card spot over the weekend.

Every Monarch that played in an MLB game in 2024 is postseason bound.
