🔼 Weekend Sweepin’. The temps aren’t the only thing heating up around Norfolk.

Make way for the red-hot ODU women’s tennis squad.

The Monarchs rolled through another weekend of Sun Belt action with a weekend sweep Texas State and Louisiana. The Lady Monarchs have now won four straight and five of its past six.

🔼 Peach Splitting. It was a weekend down in the Peach State for the men’s tennis squad.

The Monarchs split some peaches, picking up a 4-1 win over Georgia State, but dropping a tough 4-3 decision at Georgia Southern on Sunday afternoon.

ODU has won four of its past six matches and sit at 13-5 on the season.

🔼 Pride Of the Monarchs. The heart of this year’s squad can never be questioned.

Yet again, the Lady Monarchs laid it all out, battling to the very end, but on Sunday night, the 2023-24 season came to an end with a tough 48-45 loss on the road at NC A&T.

In her final collegiate game, Kaye Clark left it all on the court, leading the way with 16 points, eight rebounds and five assists for ODU.
