🔼 To The Wire. One thing for sure. This year’s Lady Monarchs is leaving it all on the court.

Three straight years with 22+ wins and ODU had its eyes on the ultimate prize, and gave top-seeded Marshall all they could handle on Sunday. But a strong second half by the Thundering Herd doomed the Lady Monarchs in a 76-70 defeat in the Sun Belt semifinals.

With 22 wins and a top-four finish in the Sun Belt, a call from the WNIT is expected to come early next week.

It marks the first time since 2005-08 that ODU posted 22 or more victories in three straight seasons.

🔼 Opening Act. After entering the ITA national team rankings for the first time this season, the ODU women’s tennis team celebrated in victorious fashion.

In the Sun Belt opener on Saturday, the Lady Monarchs coasted to a 5-2 win over visiting Marshall for their fifth victory of the spring.

Due to illnesses, ODU had to play with only five players and still came out with the gritty win.

🔼 Three’s Company. It may have been the weekend, but it was all business for the ODU sailing squads.

Not one, not two, but 3️⃣ three races filled up the weekend for the Monarchs.

ODU finished in in the top-3 in two of the three races.

The Dueling Pianos is back at Apex Entertainment in Virginia Beach! This show will take place on Friday, March 1st and tickets are still available! Enjoy three hours of music, fun and food!

🤔 MONARCH TRIVIA

This season, Kaye Clark earned Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year honors.

She ranked in the top-15 in the country in steals and became the first player since Jasmine Parker to tally 90+ steals in a year.

How many players in program history have reached 90+ in a single-season?
