🔼 Marshall, Marshall, Marshall (Brady Bunch voice). No more Thursday night football to enjoy, but we’ve got plenty of action on the hardwood for you.

Both ODU hoops squad will be in action against the Thundering Herd of Marshall with the women’s team in West Virginia, while the men are at home in Chartway Arena.

Tip times are set for 6 pm in Huntington and 7 pm in Norfolk.

🔼 Opening Act. With three new starters in the lineup and an ACC opponent across the court, the challenge was laid out for ODU’s women’s tennis squad.

In the opening act for the 2024 spring season, the defending Sun Belt champions dropped a tough 4-3 heartbreaker to a talented Florida State squad.

It was announced yesterday that ODU men’s basketball head coach Jeff Jones will take a medical leave of absence through the rest of the 2023-24 season.

🔼 Among the Elite. The ODU women’s soccer team had a historic fall season and two of their leaders were honored among the best in the country this past week.

Lady Monarch standouts Ashlynn Kulha and Ece Turkoglu were recently honored by Top Drawer Soccer on their top 100 lists of 2023. Kulha was #25 in the Top 100 Freshmen, while Turkoglu was #84 in the Top 100 Players.
