🔼 80 Days Away. We are now just 80 days away from the kickoff of the 2024 ODU Football season.

Did you know that Taylor Heinicke is the only player in program history to post a single-game completion rate of 80-percent or higher?

He did so on five different occasions, including a career-best 84.8 percent against Albany in 2013.

📞 CALL TO THE HALL

We have all have important phone calls that happen throughout our lives.

Moments and calls that we’ll remember forever.

Recently, five all-time ODU greats got one of those calls as the 2024 Class of the ODU Sports Hall of Fame was announced.

This year’s class includes Trey Freeman (Men’s Basketball), Christy Longacre (Field Hockey), Jonathan Plisco (Football), Evan Newton (Men’s Soccer) and Marty Bradley (Athletic Training).

The group will be inducted at a dinner at Chartway Arena in early September.

🎙 MIKE ON THE MIC

It may be summer break for some, but Coach Jones and the Monarchs are far from taking a break.

Hard at work on the practice courts and recruiting trails, Coach Jones caught up with the guys over at Field of 68 to talk about his return to Norfolk, the status of the Monarchs and what he’s most looking forward to about the upcoming year.
