🔼 Under The Bright Lights. It’s official—we’ve got kickoff times and TV listings for the first games of this upcoming football season! Old Dominion will open the season on Saturday, September 2 at 8:00pm ET on ACC Network at Virginia Tech, before returning home the following week to take on Louisiana on ESPN+ with kickoff at 6:00pm ET.

The game with Louisiana will be the first of back-to-back-to-back home games and will be followed by Wake Forest on Saturday, September 16 at 12:00pm ET on either ESPN2 or ESPNU.

🔼 Clear Skies. Old Dominion sailing took 13th place at the College Sailing Open Western Semifinal earlier this week.

The Division A team finished in 15th, Rider Odom was the skipper in all races for the Monarchs, while Asia Acosta competed as crew in races 7 through 10 and 13. Ethan Tutt was crew for races 11 and 12.

The Division B team finished in 12th place. Parker Purrington was the skipper for the first six races and Diogo Silva was the skipper for races 9 through 13. Grace Wright was crew for all 13 races.

Between the two teams ODU combined for 13 Top 10 finishes and two Top 5 finishes. The highest finish was third by the Division B team.

🤔 MONARCH TRIVIA

Three up. And (hopefully) three down. Old Dominion football kicks next season off with a bang—facing off against Virginia Tech, Louisiana, and Wake Forest.
