🔼 Vinnie, Vidi, Vici! One of the hottest young teams in baseball has a Monarch right in the middle of it!

Former ODU standout Vinnie Pasquantino is enjoying his team’s red-hot start to the 2024 MLB season as the Royals have won seven straight and sit among the American League’s top teams two weeks into the year.

On Wednesday night, Pasquantino had his biggest night of the young season and one of the biggest of his career as we went 3-for-3 with a HR and 5 RBIs to help the Royals past perennial AL power, Houston, 11-2.

🔼 Opportunity Knocks. While the real games don’t start for another few months, opportunity knocks this weekend for the 90 members of the ODU football program.

The annual the Priority Charity Bowl ODU Spring Game is on tap this weekend at Ballard Stadium with kickoff set for 2 pm with near perfect weather forecasted in Norfolk.

While it technically may just be the 15th and final practice of the spring season, it’s much more than that.
 
For newcomers or those fighting for playing time, it's the last chance to impress coaches before fall practice begins in early August.
 
And it's also the first chance to play in front of family, friends and ODU fans since the Monarchs' bowl game last December in Charlotte, North Carolina.

As the ODU women’s soccer team has been busy getting work in to prepare for their fall season, they’ve also enjoyed their weekly Monarch Sisters night as they spend evenings with some of the local youth on the pitch!

Who doesn’t love showing off their 757 and ODU Pride?

The Pride of ODU Collective hit its six-month anniversary recently and to celebrate, the group unleashed some brand new updates.

The collective has launched a new membership called The 757 Club. A monthly subscription service, it provides exclusive content for ODU fans for $7.57 a month.

The collective raises money and helps to facilitate deals that will compensate ODU student-athletes for their Name, Image and Likeness (NIL), such as personal appearances, social media promotions or launching an entrepreneurial effort.

The collective already has negotiated NIL deals with more than 30 ODU student-athletes.
