🔼 What A Run. One thing is for sure, the Lady Monarchs belong.

ODU’s women’s tennis team made a fourth straight trip to the Round of 32 with a thrilling 4-3 upset of #19 South Carolina in the opening round, before falling to NCAA State in the second round.

The Lady Monarchs closed out the 2024 season winning 14 of its last 15 matches, finishing with an 18-6 ledger on the season.

🔼 Shipping Up To Boston. And the journey continues.

NFL veteran and former ODU star Oshane Ximines has a new address.

After five seasons with the New York Giants, Ximines is shipping up to Boston and has signed with the New England Patriots.

In his five seasons, the former Monarch has played 48 regular season games with nine starts and has registered 69 total tackles, 6 ½ sack, 6 passes defensed, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery.

🔼 One To Remember. It’s a season that none of these Monarchs will ever forget.

The first 20-win season in nearly 10 years and gave a top-20 team all they could handle…. what a run!

The 54th-ranked ODU men’s tennis team had their season come to close in the NCAA First Round in a tough 4-1 defeat at the hands of #16 South Carolina.

“Nothing but proud of this team. These guys fought and we were in it on every court. If you were there you knew this wasn’t a 4-1 match. If we extend this match 15-20 minutes, it could be 3-3 and last match. End of the day these guys made this program better. National ranking moved up 20 spots, repeated as champs and we were very competitive in the first round compared to last year,” head coach Dominik Mueller said.
